Structural MIG welder — Dumfries and Galloway

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
