Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Anderson County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare the mise en place before each service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Rotating shifts.
