Machine assembly operator — City of Bristol

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine assembly operator in City of Bristol, Virginia. You will work in a packaging and assembly workshop. On the job you will handle: • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts What we are looking for: • Careful handling of tools and components • Punctual with reliable attendance • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
