Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Siskiyou County, California. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
