Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is at a cake shop. The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
