We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Funtua, Katsina State. On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
