Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a container port. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
