Fire and safety officer — Hawkins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Hawkins County, Tennessee. Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
