Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Saki East, Oyo State. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. 3+ years on the tools preferred. ₦185,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
