Immediate opening: we are hiring a captain waiter in Washington County, Maine. Your main tasks: • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Clear and reset tables between covers • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Check back during the meal and handle special requests What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Meals and transport allowance provided.
