Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Southampton, England. You will work in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
