Trowel-trade bricklayer • Richland County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Richland County, South Carolina. You will be based on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
