Tig welder wanted in Walker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Walker County, Alabama. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
