Vacancy available: uPVC window fitter (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Lancaster County, South Carolina. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On the job you will handle: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
