Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Lawrence County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear 4+ years on the tools preferred.
