Trailer driver — City of Norfolk

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trailer driver in City of Norfolk, Virginia. On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
