Great opportunity: ladle pourer (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Jefferson County, Missouri. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
