Fabricator-welder — Monroe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Monroe County, Tennessee. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
