Safety officer — Mackinac County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Mackinac County, Michigan. The job is on a high-rise building project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements.
