Gas pipe fitter — City of Virginia Beach

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
