Gas installation technician — Sweet Grass County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Sweet Grass County, Montana. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Driving licence for travel between sites Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
