Domestic gas engineer — Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Essex County, Virginia. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
