Urgent requirement: crawler crane operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Cumberland County, Virginia. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
