Refrigeration field service technician • Iowa County, Wisconsin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Full-time, day shift.
