Urgent requirement: argon welder (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Lane County, Kansas. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
