Fabricator-welder wanted in Fall River County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Fall River County, South Dakota. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
