Urgent requirement: rigger (Kwara State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Pategi, Kwara State. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
