Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Tambuwal, Sokoto State. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 3+ years on the tools preferred.
