We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Midland County, Michigan. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Part-time with flexible hours.
