Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Wabasha County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
