Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Grant County, New Mexico. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
