Mason's helper wanted in Jefferson Davis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On a typical shift you will wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
