Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Washington County, Vermont. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
