Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
