Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Solano County, California. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms.
