Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Macoupin County, Illinois. The job is at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam The role involves: • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Full-time with occasional weekends.
