Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Allen Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
