Incoming goods inspector — Douglas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Douglas County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
