We are recruiting: horizontal milling machine operator (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
