Hoist operator • Jackson County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Jackson County, Michigan. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Rotating shifts.
