Now hiring: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Rutherford County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will measure up and work out paint and material quantities; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting. Ideal candidate: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
