Precision welder • Gibson County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Gibson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
