Requirements: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Steady hands for soldering fine connections • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems Day to day you will replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors; programme keys and reset immobilisers; check charging system output and battery voltage; install alarms, immobilisers and central locking; solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
