Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Yazoo County, Mississippi. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
