Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Butte County, South Dakota. The job is in an HVAC service company. The role involves braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Six days a week, one day off.
