Concrete placer — Tangaza

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Tangaza, Sokoto State. You will be based on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish.
