Quality assurance assistant • Petersburg Borough, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
