Immediate opening: cnc setter-operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Morgan County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
