Argon arc welder wanted in Yolo County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Yolo County, California. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
