Tyre and wheel fitter — Okeechobee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will work at a roadside mobile fitting unit. On the job you will handle: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Awareness of workshop health and safety Performance bonus on top of base pay.
